Carl and I spent Saturday in his old lower east side neighborhood. He was able to recognized 342 E. 9th as the apartment he shared with Alan in 1967. We sent him the photo.
We had beers at McSorley's Ale House. 2 for $5 (mostly top) It was totally packed and buzzing. This must be a prime tourist stop.
