Thursday I attended a rally at the Village Voice to protest their backpages; ads that traffic young women and illegal immigrants. Then a stroll around the East Village with memories of the 60's and the Ukranian neighborhood where Carl lived. A new St. Mark's Bookstore was quite enticing, can you hear the classical music?
