Museums

Bev and I toured the Frick again on Thursday with a more leisurely view of the Renoir's. The house is magnificent, built in 1913-14. I enjoyed the structure as much if not more than some of the art.

On Friday, I met Ellen at the New Museum's special exhibit "The Ungovernables" and then lunch at her favorite dumpling place in Chinatown. I am sorry to have her leave NYC but excited about her new job in Portland. She spent her last free week absorbing as much of the city as possible without being encumbered by working hours. Susan arrived on Saturday to play a few days and help her drive her things to Oregon. I hope we have convinced Ellen, Michi and Lizzie that good friends can stay in touch even when spread around the country.
