Martha had taken a course on documentaries, one of which was Battle for Brooklyn. She wanted to see the Atlantic Yards site; this made for a exciting day exploration. We went to the World Trade Center site first. Diane recommended a walk in Brooklyn and the Milk Bar for lunch. While at lunch we talked to three young women with children next to us about their opinion of the Atlantic Yards. We also spoke with a store owner. It did not seem as serious an egregious event to those we spoke. Just the inevitable part of life in the city.
