This is a National Park at 28 East 20th Street. Free entry with a one hour tour. It was reconstructed by family members in the early 1900's and has many original pieces of furnishings. I loved the crib although it would not meet todays' safety standards. The house is right around the corner from the "Ladies Mile" and Union Square. The family moved from this busy area to the suburbs - 59th Street - when Teddy was 14. Many of the beautiful old department stores are re-emerging with exterior in tact. ABC Carpet and The Container Store are entertaining places to visit.
