West Side Community Garden

Rooftop view of my neighborhood garden on June 1.  The tulips are gone and summer plantings are nearly in. The concerts start this month.

Summer is setting in for many activities.  We have registered for lottery tickets to Shakespeare in the Park that is starting on Tuesday.  Can we pack in all we want to do in the next few weeks?  Last play for Women's Project Theatre is Tuesday night.  First Wednesday of the month Science Cafe at AMNH the next day.

Andrea and Dave were here for Saturday and Sunday.  It was a three activity day, and the third activity was actually 3 activities in itself.  We were all tired when we got home.  Did you know that the A train which is usually an Express is actually a Local after 11pm?  It took watching 3 trains pass before we realized this and got on.  In the meantime, life in the subway at midnight was a noisy and unique experience with various other types of trains coming through.

We had Sunday Brunch at Laura and Cindy's new apartment on the UES.  Can the youngest of the Hopkins F2s really be a Senior in College?
